It delivers strat-like tones, with pronouced highs and lows, and a little bit scooped mids. It’s inspired by short period in Fender history when telecaster pickups were wound with 42 AWG magnet wire. It’s a proposition for all who are looking for a strat-like sound in their telecaster guitar.
Neck pickup is wound RWRP (Reverse-wound, Reverse-polarity – magnetic pole reversed and wire wound in the opposite direction compared to the other single-coil pickups in the same guitar which alows to receive hum canceling effect in middle position).
Sound samples are raw. Signal chain: Fender Telecaster Mexico 2008, Orange Rocker 32 (2xppc212), m13, shure sm57.
