Station I / Sharper

The Vermilion Sharper is a modern Strat Rail Humbucker pickup.

The idea behind the design of this pickup was to create a humbucker with an open sound, as close as possible to the sound of single coil pickups.

Compared to classic single-coil pickups, this pickup has a slightly more rounded high end, but still maintains a high level of highs with a slight boost of the low midrange. It is an ideal solution for players who appreciate the dynamics and character of single-coil pickups, and who want to reduce the noise generated by them.

The “Blade” design allows for a balanced distribution of the magnetic field over the pickup, along with a very low “magnet pull” effect, which eliminates the out-of-tune problem known from single-coil pickups based on rods type magnets, and occurs when the pickup is placed very close to the strings.

The Strat Rail Humbucker series pickups work well in all guitar positions.
